Nidhi Tandon is currently the Director of a non-profit focused on mentoring students with cross-cultural backgrounds in STEM education in partnership with the East Brunswick Public School system. She has trained in a range of modalities including Equity based learning, Competency based approaches, and Innovative approaches through the MIT Teaching Systems Lab. She has recently (2020) joined the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University as a Research Specialists for the Centre for Workforce Development. Her educational background includes M.Phil. in Policy Planning from IIT Bombay, a M.S and B.S in Geography from Calcutta University, Professional Certification in Geomatics and Remote Sensing from Rutgers University, and a Professional Certification in Project Management from Cornell University.
